Fallout 4
One thing that fascinates every player is the set locations of the Fallout games. The Fallout games are almost always set in aesthetic locales that attract even more players to this community. Set in Boston, Fallout 4 provided a necessary change of surroundings for the series, from deserts to more tenantable terrain. Fallout 4 takes what worked up the game previously and took it to the next level.
This game has much more running for it than any other part of it. The quests are as seriously intertwined as possible, and the world is a bit more illuminated and saturated. Gun customization has a great depth to it. The game includes over 50 guns, which can be crafted with a variety of modifications and tempering, such as barrel types and laser focus, it has over 700 modifications available.
The player is given an opportunity to build and protect his very own settlement, this offers a novel twist to the gameplay. The aesthetics of this particular game are to die for, even though it’s filled with rusty cars and vintage, crumbling buildings. All these remarkable traits of the game cause Fallout 4 to be housed under the S tier of the fallout games tier list.
Fallout 4 takes place in the year 2287, ten years after the events that occurred in Fallout 3. Fallout 4’s story begins on the day the bombs dropped. The Sole Survivor, the protagonist of the game, takes shelter in Vault 111. He emerges 210 years later after being subjected to suspended animation. The Sole Survivor goes on a search for his son who was taken away in the Vault.

A Tier
Moving on to the next best thing in the fallout tier list it may be the A list but it is a bit lower than the S tier. It has the games that were just a wee bit less than the ones in the S tier. But not to worry, this awesome workmanship will keep you engrossed just as much as the ones in the S Tier.
Fallout 3
Another version of the post-nuclear war world videogame was innovative and novel to the players. It preserved the writing quality of fallout and the open world, a multitudinous approach to questing across the wasteland.
Fallout 3 was unable to score a presence in the S tier because of the deviation of a faction, Brotherhood of steel, from its usual goal. This confused the die-hard fans of Fallout because they knew the brotherhood of steel as the technology hoarders, this was replaced by their helping others trait. This brought the fallout down to the A tier.
On the contrary, the game introduced the first-person perspective to the Fallout world, this game also gave birth to the Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System (V.A.T.S.). It utilizes 3D graphics, a free-roam gaming world, and real-time combat mode, instead of previous games’ 2D graphics and turn-based combats.
Along with this, many of the features from the previous videogames, included in the fallout games tier list were also brought back in this remarkable roleplaying game, including the characters’ S.P.E.C.I.A.L(Strength, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility, and Luck) system that helps determine the primary attributes of the character, and the enemies that are confronted.
The storyline revolves around the protagonist a vault dweller, residing in Vault 101, who is forced to flee when the Overseer tries to arrest him as a result of his father leaving the Vault. Once out, the player ventures into the Wasteland in and around Washington, D.C., known as the Capital Wasteland, to find his father. What is life without a companion, a player is able to gain a companion depending on the way he plays.

Fallout 2
What’s a good role-playing videogame, without a great storyline. The biggest improvement between Fallout 1 and 2 is easily the plotline. Following the rulebooks of sequels, this sequel kept everything that was good with the first part and modified to its own version, The world was made bigger, the quests harder and deeper, and the gameplay remained almost the same.
The players didn’t regard these similarities as the reason for staying in the community, in fact, it called about a frequent criticism for the game, saying that it didn’t change enough from its preceding part, and as it is said that strength lies in differences, not in similarities. These criticisms lodged it in the A tier.
As a writer, when you are required to build a world from raw scratch, you have to give a full-fledged perspective of history. When you are reentering a world for the purpose of a sequel or another story in the same universe, you are given a chance to make as many changes and pull as many cords to give it the best outlook.
Fallout 2 takes full advantage of the foundation laid by the first game, and is also present in the other fallout games residing in the fallout games tier list, the witty, dark humor, that attracted a huge amount of players, stayed.
Fallout 2 takes place in the timeline of eight years after the events that were withheld in Fallout, and its story revolves around a successor of the Vault Dweller, the lead of Fallout. The player assumes the role of the Chosen One who is the Vault Dweller’s actual grandson. He tries to protect his village, called Arroyo, from famine and droughts. After saving his village, the Chosen One is required to fight the Enclave which is the sole remnants of the pre-war United States government.

B Tier
The B tier can be mistaken for bad games but instead, it has games that are pretty good but not as great as the ones in the S and A tiers. Not everything is made to be perfect, hence, the B tier enlists the games that have a great storyline, and amazing factions and companions but they still lacked the key to the door of the S or A tier. If you are enjoying reading this, you might want to read the Melty Blood Tier List as well.
Fallout
The videogame is where it all began. Fallout gave birth to a whole community of fallout. This primogenitor is not only the father of all other fallouts but also it is the insightful outlook on the post-apocalyptic world, after the nuclear war.
Fallout die-hard fans worship this particular part, just for this reason. Otherwise, its drawbacks are hard to look past. What is a videogame without its up-to-date visuals and gameplay, in the B tier? The main reason for this is that it was produced in 1977 and its graphics hint at that quite openly.
Fallout has factions and mutants. And to add to it all, there’s a substantial amount of radiation, that could ruin a person in a matter of seconds. And how can we forget the remarkable storyline driven primarily by the player’s choice? Not to mention the in-depth character customization that supports your storyline, it can be altered in your favor.
Choosing what the player wants to be is his own decision, he can either be a gunslinger, an outlaw, or a savvy scientist and with his charisma, he can end any conflict without violence. But how can we overlook the deficiencies that this videogame bears?
Fallout’s scenery, atmosphere, and, on the whole, artwork are mere recalling of the vista of the post-World War II United States during the Cold War era. It depicts the world almost exactly as it was at that time. Additionally, they were able to add the fear that the country was headed for nuclear war in the real world. The Vault Dweller is given the task to recover a water chip in the Wasteland to replace the fragmented one in their underground shelter home, Vault 13. Afterward, the Vault Dweller is required to thwart the plans of a group of mutants, led by a ghastly entity named the Master.

Fallout 76
Looking for a way to enjoy yourself along with your mates, the Fallout franchise brings to you a multiplayer game that allows you to share your fun with your friends and buddies to past time. Who wouldn’t like to play fallout in a pair, surely I would love to. Fallout 76 is a spin-off to the main fallout series.
At launch, Fallout 76 did not include Nonplayable Characters in the area surrounding the wasteland. That’s a bold move that screams confidence but unfortunately, it fell rather flat and dull. So Fallout 76 blundered along for a few years bearing the ire of the fan base, which kept comparing it to what it could have been. I bet you’re wondering why this game wasn’t at the bottom of the list of Fallout games tier list.
There’s one simple reason, the complaint was rather taken quite seriously and the franchise worked hard to work on it, granting it a position in the B tier. They improved the fallout 76 overall experience, to extinguish the rage of the fan base. While it still isn’t perfect, the Fallout 76 experience in the intervening years since launch has changed a lot and the result is remarkably adequate.
With the initiation of living humans in Wastelanders, the diversity of quests has increased exponentially in the game, and human quest givers became more common in this game, though the original questline remains in the game, untouched. Quests may be completed as a team, but each player character is granted their own unique quest items to locate and pick up and a whole lot of objectives to complete. More than one identical quest item can be seen in the same container when each member of the team is required to pick it up for the purpose of the quests.

C Tier
The C tier is notorious for residing almost the worst videogames, I mean how can you overlook the scars in these videogames. They are painted red and scream to the player so as not to ignore them. These deficiencies dragged all these fallout games down to the ring close to the worst. They might as well have been in the lowest tier but they weren’t as bad as the one in the D tier. Only a completist will have the courage to play these games.
Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel
As far as spinoffs go, Fallout Tactics is both sustained and, also restrained by the genre change. The combat is absolute, and pitch-perfect, encouraging the player to think around the obstacles and take unique approaches. They even turned it up a notch with different battle mechanics that make combat more dynamic than the predecessors of the game.
But while the story feels like it belongs in the Fallout universe, Fallout Tactics suffers from the same handicaps as other spinoffs, already included in the Fallout tier list. At the end of the day, Fallout is utterly about free-roaming exploration and player choice, two perspectives that are bound to suffer in any other way. Fallout Tactics is a solid entry that’s bound to please turn-based tactical fans and Fallout fans alike. Other than this there is absolutely nothing good about the Fallout tactics and hence it is located in the C Tier.
Unlike the previous two games in the Fallout series, Fallout 1 and 2, Fallout Tactics emphasizes basically tactical combat and strategy, not roleplaying. Even though roleplaying is the central part of the fallout. Players are not able to respond to non-player characters, but they can still trade and gamble.

Fallout Shelter
A mobile-operated version of the fallout was all that the fallout fan base required to sustain themselves. Their favorite sanctuary in the palm of their hands is enough to keep them moving about. A fallout shelter is an Android and iOS mobile app, that was later available on Xbox and PlayStation as well. But that’s where the good points of the game come to an end.
While the visual aesthetics make a good impression on the cartoony stylings of the series’ Vault Boy mascot but it doesn’t have anything else going on for it. It lacks depth, falls into the same repetitive scenarios as most mobile games do, and seems like a cheap opportunity to squeeze a few dollars at a time out of the pockets of Fallout fans. The only thing that stopped it from stooping down to the D tier is its introduction as a micro transaction-riddled mobile game but other than that it’s utterly useless.
Fallout Shelter is a simulation game in which the player runs a Vault-Tec Corporation vault as the overseer. As an overseer, he controls all of the functions of the vault including power, food, water, and the number of vault dwellers. To advance through the simulation to traverse the game, the player needs to increase the size of the vault by adding and upgrading new rooms, each with its own functions, and then addition of the dwellers to run each room.

D Tier
Let’s get down to the most demised tier of the tier list. The game included in this tier is better to be avoided at all costs as it will ruin your whole experience of the game.
Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel
Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel is a lesser-known, lower-rated, and infamous entry in the series. Even though it bears the Fallout name, it could have just as easily been a RAGE spinoff if it had been manifested a decade later. And perhaps then and only then, would it not have been judged so harshly.
The game simply drops off the player directly into linear levels to search for loot and wipe the map clean of various enemies. Unlike other Fallout games included in the tier list, Brotherhood of Steel is not an open-world but nevertheless a peculiar choice for a game that is solely dependent on the player’s choice.
The levels are linear in the truest and the most basic sense, railroading the player forward without the main initiative. Along with all this, it prevents them from returning to previous levels once they are completed. All this haphazardness reserved it a spot in nonother than the D tier.
Instead of towns, Fallout Tactics is generalized around the Brotherhood bunkers and includes their missions. The bunkers serve as a primal point for the Brotherhood, and players can gain the services of quartermasters, mechanics, and medics, as well. Characters who have completed the missions occasionally visit the brotherhood bunkers.
After receiving a mission briefing and rules from the general who is in charge of the bunker, the player’s squad can then move to the location, where the mission is supposed to take place. Among these locations are towns, factories, military encampments, or even a vault. There, the player is granted a map of the area marked with various objectives and notes.

Final Verdict
The Fallout tier list, which revolves around a role-playing post-apocalyptic video game that concerns missions and objectives around the towns and different cities, ranked the Fallout video games into several tiers based on their versatility, diversity, outlook, its way of combining fun and realism and, most importantly, how much was it able to hook a player to itself. All these traits categorized the games into S, A, B, C, and D tiers ranging from the best to the worst.
The games in the S tier are addictive and you can never get enough of them, whereas the games in the D tier are disgusting and if you avoid them it’ll be a treat to yourself.
