Halo Infinite Co-op Will Have the Tether Distance Feature

Halo Infinite is one of the Halo franchise’s most popular yet controversial projects. Most of which is due to the recent events at 343 Industries. However, if we look at the game’s future, it is safe to say that there is potential.

Although it is considered a game more on the bad side, it is still ranked 19th on the US Xbox Most Played List. One big thing that can save the game is the co-op, and believe it or not, we have some news for you regarding a unique feature that the co-op will have.

Tether Distance POV In-game

The tether distance will be shown in meters, and the main focus will be on two values; the first value is the “warning radius”, which will translate to 800 feet or 243 meters. The 2nd value is the “kill radius”, which is 1000 feet or 304 meters.

This is how those values will show up in the game; you can check where each player is on the map and calculate the distance.

Now, this may not be one of the favorite features for many players because this way, you can not run away and do the objectives over vast distances. However, this can allow players to be more tactful in how they play and complete their missions.

This can add more variety to the game, and the game is already rich in terms of story; if you are not familiar, the story follows the super-soldier “Master Chief” fighting the enemy group “Banished” in the ringworld Zeta Halo.

This game is the 6th installment in the franchise and the 3rd in the “Reclaimer Saga”. It is published by Xbox Game Studios and developed by 343 Industries. Since the game belongs to one of the most successful franchises in the gaming industry, the expectations remain very high for it.

343 Studios has started working on improving the game and is listening to player feedback. Recently, we posted the news on the latest prototypes they are working on, including the Armament BlasterBrute SpikerBandit Rifle, and Machine Guns.

So we can expect some good things from the game, especially if you are a fan of seeing features like this, along with some old-style Halo weapons.

That’s all from us. Since these are still not official, the values may change before release, but the concept will remain the same, so if you have any questions, do let us know below, and we will get back to you!
