Monster Hunter is one of the most successful and popular franchises, as it not only described a whole genre but gave it the meaning it needed. Monster hunter is a Japanese media franchise developed and published by Capcom. The first game of the series was released for the PlayStation 2 in 2004; many titles have been released across various platforms, including PC, consoles, and mobile devices.
As of March 31, 2022, the game series has sold 80 million units worldwide and is Capcom’s second best-selling series, following Resident Evil. The current new title is Monster Hunter Rise, released on March 26, 2021. An expansion, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, was announced to be released in June 2022 for both platforms.
Fans have been patiently waiting for the game. On the one hand, Kogath, a Capcom insider and admin at Monter Hunter Rise wiki, have been heavily hinting on Twitter regarding Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak; he tweeted teasing Espinas through an identical plant; Espinas is a Flying Wyvern introduced in Monster Hunter Frontier Season 2, which is the second instalment of Monster Hunter Frontier. Some fans consider Espinas to remain as frontier’s exclusive.

Recently on kogath’s Twitter account, he pinned tweets about Espinas and has been tweeting about them all day. Monster Hunter was also teased with the same plant on their Twitter account, So we can say that his news does have a lot of substance, and the fans might be in for a big surprise.

Espinas and Frontier monsters were kept from being in the main series because of fan outcry from the Frontier community. With the Capcom showcase right around the corner loading screen of the Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak leaked, which shows Espinas, Astalos, Gore, and Rakna-Kadaki, fans are hyped to witness these monsters again.
The leaked loading screen looks quite familiar to the art of Monster Hunter, and with the game getting closer to its release date, we are likely to get more information on the game.
