On April 28th, Xbox tweeted about the “Xbox & Bethesda Showcase” on June 12th, and there have been a lot of speculations on what we might see in this showcase. Among the many reveals, we might potentially see the release date of Arkane’s Redfall, (finally) some more information on The Elder Scrolls VI, and even information regarding the Indiana Jones Game announced last year.
All in all, there are many logical speculations, but what we need to focus on first and foremost is what Jez Corden said in a video. According to him, we might see a physical in-person aspect to this Xbox & Bethesda Showcase.
In his talk with Rand al Thor 19, he went on to say that the news of this showcase came as a surprise, not because they weren’t expecting a showcase, but that they weren’t expecting it to be so early. He also talked about potential things we might see, and the tweets made by people working behind the scenes.
Rand al Thor and Jez Corden discussed how the event is likely to be a physical one, however, it won’t be a fanfest, and only the press and special influencers would be invited. A fanfest in such a short period (especially since the showcase news came as a surprise even for him) is not optimal, and they won’t go for that. Still, to confirm all of this, we need to wait for the further announcement by Xbox & Bethesda themselves.
Jez Corden is an editor at Windows Central and a very reliable source of information/news in the gaming community. He covers news about mostly Xbox, Windows, and Microsoft. A lot of his news gets recognition and confirmation from notable people, which is proof of his reliability. He might as well be one of the influencers who can go to the physical event.
Aside from this, we might see more information on the following titles; Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, State of Decay 3, and Avowed. We might see Everwild, as the last thing we heard was that it was overhauled. There might also be news on reboots of Fable and Perfect Dark, but all we can do is wait until the showcase and make bets.
That is it from us, let us know if you have anything to ask!
