Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord has been in its incomplete state for two and a half years. It officially came out in early access back on the 27th of March, and only recently did TaleWorlds Entertainment announce that it will formally receive its full release on the 25th of October.
The game will be released for both Xbox and PlayStation consoles. Although some may have already forgotten the game, we are here to refresh your memory with some exciting pieces of information our team at TopTierList managed to swipe from SteamDB.
About Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord
Bannerlord is a strategy ARPG developed and published by TaleWorld Entertainment and Prime Matter. The game is a prequel to the 2008 Mount & Blade‘s stand-alone expansion, Mount & Blade: Warband.
It takes place over 200 years before Warband and is set in the Migration Period. If we consider the first time it was ever announced, it has taken Bannerlord around ten years to finally get released. It was announced in 2012 and received its steam page in 2015. The developers started giving out developer diaries afterward, giving further information on the game’s elements.
The early access was successful, as it reached 250k concurrent players on steam. Today, we will discuss the Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord achievements that were leaked on SteamDB.
Major Points
- Fifty-six achievements from Mount & Blade II have emerged on SteamDB.
- Although no display names are given, the API Name provides a good insight into what each achievement can be.
- Some fans are still waiting for the game to get more content, as the game still feels incomplete.
Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord Achievements
The SteamDB page for Mount & Blade II has finally received its achievements tab, which means we can see what the fun challenges of the game will be. In total, there are 56 achievements listed, but we won’t talk about each of them. Since that part is pure speculation, we will let your imaginations run wild.
You can check the API names if you want to speculate about each achievement’s challenge. For example, the 54th achievement is listed as “Test_WonTournamentCount,” meaning you can get the achievement after winning a set amount of tournaments.
In due time, we will also get the display names, which will further clear the questions regarding the API names. Additionally, since they are the first set of achievements on the SteamDB, they will likely be released in the 1.0 release or the patch that comes out on the 25th of October.
Players Are Expecting More Content
Even though the game has finally received all these updates, many players are still skeptical of the game. They believe the game is still incomplete; either some features are missing, or there is not as much depth in the game as compared to Warband.
We can’t judge that for now, as the game is still not fully released. Once the game is out, we can see it in its complete state and then review whether it is as good as its predecessors.
End Remarks
The achievements give great insight into what to expect in the game. But what’s more important is that the game has received some content after much wait, but do you think the game will be worth its price? And will it reclaim the success it received in early access or even exceed our expectations? Let us know what you think below!
