Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 is another recent title in the Call of Duty franchise and has further enhanced the gaming experience. If you thought Modern Warfare II was all you needed this year, you now have more things to look forward to.
It is one of the most prized possessions of Activision, and as such, it will undoubtedly bring out more content to keep the players engaged. If the success of its predecessor wasn’t massive already, the release of this game on the 16th of November has further increased the player count of Modern Warfare II.
We know there will be lots of content in Warzone 2.0, and we already have indications of it in an inaccessible area, found by Twitter user Shaun Weber. His tweet showed the area, with a message showing it is, in fact, reserved for an upcoming public event. It might even be the 1st public event for this game, and we have our reasons to believe so.
Major Points
- One of the locations in Warzone 2.0 is locked and reveals a message indicating a public event.
- As the place is reserved for a future event, anyone can see it if they know where to look.
- Since the game is new, and this is one of the first of many easter eggs, we believe it to be part of their first public event.
Activision’s most recent battle royale game contains amazing gameplay and exciting places to explore. Among many of these locations, our team at TopTierList found a tweet that revealed a locked area, and upon attempts to enter, it showed the message “Locked – Wait for the public event.”

Although it is unclear what this event might be, we have seen some popular ones in other battle royale games. They could be a good inspiration, but since it is Call of Duty, not to mention the Squad Up song, which surely took a chunk out of their budget, we can see something grandiose coming here as well.
Furthermore, we believe this place might be where they hold their first-ever public event in Warzone 2.0. Since we haven’t seen any other easter eggs revealing similar content, that’s all we can think of. It only makes sense that a game of this scale will come out with parts of future planned content already in it.
If you want to explore this area by yourself, Shaun Weber also gave a rough idea of where he was when he found it.
He also said it wasn’t available in previous rounds, so the conditions of finding this particular place are just as mysterious as the place itself. But since we know gamers will play this game day and night, it won’t take long before this location becomes more popular.
In the meantime, what do you think Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 holds in store for us as its public event? Do you believe it will be as exciting as we think? Share your thoughts with us below, and we will get back to you!
