S Tier
The S tier, which has the best of the best grotesque creatures that you will ever see. If you have one of these undefeatable creatures playing for you, you are bound to win. You can even bet on it. If you lose, you have extremely bad luck. Anyhow, these creatures have the best combat reviews.
Rodan
Its name may resemble a rodent, but its capabilities are far from those pesky little mammals. But it is so named because it is the contraction of the Japanese word ‘Pteranodon’ which means radiation monster. It is by a long way the most powerful creature in our ranking. It belongs on the S Tier because it can destroy anything in sight, within a matter of seconds.
Rodan is a user-friendly monster. It is considered one of the best Godzilla monsters. It has great speed and agility. You can manipulate the opponent very easily with this powerful giant. Your opponent might not be expecting Such an outcome because his moves are quite unique, and he also possesses dexterity, which gives it a reason to stay on top of other monstrosities in the S tier. Rarely such a case is presented where Rodan has nothing to do. Otherwise, it can always pull something off.
Appearance
Rodan is a monstrosity that has scaly skin. The color of the scales ranges from brown to burgundy. It has an enormous beak and colossal broad wings.
Unlocking
It is unlocked by playing as Gigan through the Adventure mode
Roar
The roar of the Rodan resembles the shrill voice of a bird. It, further, deepens into a deep and hoarse roar. His roars extend into a deep long exhale.
Abilities | Heat breath, Atomic death ray, Durability, Flight speed |
Enemies | Ghidorah |
Destroyah
Look at the name, people, right there is the reason for it being in the S Tier. The destroyah proudly lives up to its name. It destroys almost everything in sight. It is a harbinger of destruction and chaos. Perhaps, it can be said that it is the only monster that can bring the Rodan to its knees. This Horn Samurai is a Herculean creature that uses its moves instead of its powers.
The main reason that this otherworldly being deserved a place in the S tier is its undefeatable horn power, Which makes it difficult to defeat. Its horns have the ability to oppress the opponent. Firstly, this horn gives it a fierce appearance. Secondly, his straight slash down is enough to punish the enemy standing before him.
Appearance
The Destroyah can not be an attractive creature, it has to live up to its heavy name. For that purpose, it is the most petrifying monster. With its purple and bluish scaly body that accentuates its ugliness, it has huge bat-like wings. And to add to the hideousness, the huge horn on this Samurai can terrify the opponent to wet his pants. The claws coming out of its extremities can claw out the throat of a person in a couple of seconds. Don’t forget about the claw hand tail, it can grind a person just by holding him.
Unlocking
It is unlocked by playing with the terrifying Godzilla 2000, all through the Adventure mode.
Roar
Destroyah’s roar has a wide range. It usually varies in its different forms. Its first roar is loud screeching noise that might blow up your ears. The second one resembles the loud high pitched sound of Mechagodzilla. It has also been heard making small grunts like a pig or a donkey.
Abilities | Breakdown, Chest beam, Claws, Inner Jaw |
Enemies | Godzilla Godzilla Junior |
A Tier
The creatures in A tier are a little less than perfect. These gigantic monsters have almost the same power as those in the S tier of the Godzilla destroy all monsters tier list. They can win in many battles against the monsters that are lower than them. But they suffer greatly against the high-tiered monsters. If you have one of these in your place, the game can still be tipped towards your side.
Orga
The most sacrificial monster in the tier list, it is a versatile creature that can destroy opponents with only a few moves. It prefers to use its deadly and lethal moves instead of spending its energy on Its brutal Power strength.
Under consideration, this mighty and hefty Titan has a deadly mini combo that, on sight, seems like a simple job but, in reality, causes the most damage. The main thing wrong with this creature is its inability to turn the tables while being double-crossed. This inability brings it down to the A tier.
If the opponent is allowed to carry on with his combo, he can bring down Orga easily. But if it has the ball in its court at the start, it doesn’t lose grip till the end and can surely win.
Appearance
Orga is a ghastly creature who resembles a deformed and warped Godzilla. A person might shudder and lose his confidence after taking a glance at him. it’s hunched back, and a tiny quadrangular head scares the living soul out of the opponent. A person with a courageous heart is required to fight against this grotesque creature.
Unlocking
It is unlocked by playing through Adventure mode as Godzilla 2000 after every other character is unlocked.
Roar
Orga is distinguished mainly by its roar, this Godzilla monster has a snarly wolf-like howl that haunts the nightmares of every being alive. The high-pitched sound that leaves its throat is petrifying to the core.
Abilities | DNA absorption, Snake-like jaws, Plasma spit, Jumping capability |
Enemies | Godzilla, Jet Jaguar, M.O.G.U.E.R.A |
Mecha-King Ghidorah
This creature is a combination of two names, ‘Mecha’, which points toward A robot machine that is controlled by an inside man, and ‘King Ghidorah’, who is another one of the grotesque monsters.
A powerful creature, yet with a few drawbacks when this husky monster is in combat. Some players identify it as one of the best, while others do not so much. According to me, it’s a 50/50 opinion. If you look at it this way, it does have some incredibly strong moves but does lack many plus points.
This automated Cyborg is beneficial in combat as it can take down the enemy in front of it. The main reason for it being in the A tier is that it has a hard time winning against the Destroyah. Additionally, it does not have the unlimited power of the Rodan and the Destroyah, which are part of the S Tier.
Appearance
An utter replica of King Ghidorah, this mechanical creature was created with different sorts of gears. It has a visionary outlook, with its three long-necked huge heads and a mechanized middle head that helps in its movement. Its torso and wings were also mechanized to aid in its flying and performing other moves. This revolutionized model of the ordinary King Ghidorah is much more powerful and useful.
Unlocking
It is unlocked by playing through Adventure mode as King Ghidorah.
Roar
As it is a mechanical robotic creature, its roar also hints toward its metallic nature. It has an automated mechanized snarl, that is high-pitched but not too scary.
Abilities | Force Field, Capture cables, Gravity beams, Laser Triple Beam |
Enemies | Godzilla, Rodan, Mothra Leo, Anguirus, King Caesar, Godzilla Junior Baragon, Gorosaurus |
B Tier
Moving on to the next tier, the B Tier has strong monsters, but they lag behind in a few attributes. These attributes make them good enough but not the best. They can be beaten up easily as compared to other high-tiered Godzilla allies.
Mechagodzilla 3
Mechagodzilla is a name derived from a mechanical dragon. It is a cybernetically-enhanced mecha, technically a multi-purpose fighting system. This perfectionist and adept cyborg is great at fighting combats and defeating the opponent standing behind it.
This Godzilla is one of the heftiest creatures; it does not have any crippling downfalls, unlike many grotesque monsters that are part of the Godzilla destroy all monsters tier list, which can affect its performance on the battlefield.
In fact, it has some great perks that give it an upper hand on the battlefield. The reason for it being in the B Tier is its limited power reserves; Mechagodzilla 3 can only be in action for at most two hours or less, depending on its level of activity or when the use of Absolute Zero is involved.
Appearance
This mechanically engineered dragon was radically designed to look akin to our very own organic Godzilla. The head has a long metal conical projection extending from the top of its forehead, pointing upwards that extends towards the back of its head. It has huge yellow-colored eyes that, when in fight mode, can turn red to scare the opponent in front of him.
Unlocking
Mechagodzilla 3 appears only in the Xbox and Japanese GameCube versions of the game. In the Japanese GameCube version, Mechagodzilla 3 takes the place on the Heisei Mechagodzilla, while he is included as a separate playable character in the Xbox version under the name ‘Mechagodzilla 3’.
Roar
Mechagodzilla’s roar is more of a mechanical sound than the high screeching sound other monsters make, which is also mixed with Godzilla’s raspy and guttural roar.
Abilities | Electric wrist blade, Overall firepower, Alloy composition, Absolute Zero Cannon |
Enemies | Godzilla Rodan |
Gigan
Gigan is an alien cyborg Godzilla, whose name is a combination of the Japanese words for ‘nice guy’ and the word for ‘goose’. Gigan is a quite great choice, when played with a certain playstyle, and possesses a move that no other monster does. It’s mostly famous for its long jump which can help it traverse large miles at a time.
This cyborg alien could have easily scored a place in the S Tier if it were not for its losing capabilities against the fierce and mighty Rodan. Who can take him down in seconds and clearly has an upper hand? He belongs in A Tier for his huge long jump that helps it travel all around the battlefield in the blink of an eye. It’s difficult to catch up to this creature in the arena.
Appearance
Gigan is truly a peculiar-looking monster, supporting a circular saw-like weapon located on his front abdominal region, large steel hooks in place of hands with smaller versions for toes, and spikes running down his tail. Three large fin-like spines are located on his back, and a red cybernetic visor is used as its eye.
Unlocking
It is unlocked by playing through Adventure mode as Anguirus
Roar
Gigan’s roar is a brief, electronically fashioned small chirp, unlike other creatures found in the ranking, which makes it far less frightening than other creatures.
Abilities | Scorpion-like tail, Hooked appendages, Scorching laser beam, Antigravity flight |
Enemies | Godzilla, Anguirus, Jet Jaguar, Mothra |
C Tier
This tier contains the creatures that are not the worst but are close to it. They are kind of good but still can’t dribble the ball in their court. If a fierce and vigorous monster is against them, they can do nothing but await their end. It’s utterly stupid to put them against the S-tiered monsters.
Godzilla 90s
It is adapted from the early versions of Godzilla, which were safe from all revolutionized and radical innovations of Godzilla. When you start the game, you can only play with the basic creatures. It is the only unlocked monster at that time; as the game progresses, you are able to unlock many others. But in the start, he is your one and only option. He is the best choice for learning the basic rules and regulations of the game, as he is very user-friendly and doesn’t possess any complicated moves.
It is the early imagined form of Godzilla that lacked a lot of high powers. It is the primary notion that can work up to great combos. The reason for it being in the C Tier is that it struggles A lot against the high-tiered monsters who possess loads of power and combo moves that can whip him on his bottom in mere seconds. Although, it is best to learn techniques on this basic creature.
Appearance
The Godzilla is known for its Scary appearance that can terrify the opponent. Its rough, leathery, and scaly skin accentuates its gnarly nature. The spikes that run over its back enhance its ugliness. It’s spike-eat deep that can grind even the hardest of bones and demotivate the opponent easily. The deadly eyes also creep out the person standing behind it.
Unlocking
It is unlocked by default.
Roar
The Godzilla roar is quite famous. It has a high screeching sound that can make a person bleed his ears out, with low growling voices resembling a whimpering dog.
Abilities | Amphibious lifestyle, Durability, Atomic breath, Waving tail |
Enemies | Anguirus |
Godzilla 2000
The name ‘Godzilla’ is a transliteration of a combination of two Japanese words, gorilla and whale. Since Godzilla is neither a gorilla nor a whale, the name had to be devised in a different way originally.
Godzilla 2000 resembles Godzilla 90s in so many ways; in fact, it can be said that it is an exact replica of the latter one. The only difference between the two might be their appearance and energy absorption of the Godzilla 2000. Other than that, they are similar through and through. Godzilla 2000 is in the C Tier due to the same reason as Godzilla 90s; it can never win a game against the top-tiered monsters. They can tear these low leveled monsters apart.
Appearance
The purple-spiked Godzilla has a small, tiny mouth, a flat, nasty face, long neck, the skin color is a lighter shade of green, and the color of the dorsal spikes are a light purple color, unlike the Godzilla 90s had the same colored spikes like it’s scaly skin.
Unlocking
It is unlocked by playing through Adventure mode as the unlocked by default Godzilla ’90s.
Roar
The Roar of Godzilla 2000 is revamped from the Godzilla Millennia Series, which featured the roar as a high screech. The screech alerted the enemy miles away from it
Abilities | Energy absorption and projection, Durability, Amphibiousness, Atomic breath |
Enemies | Orga |
D Tier
Now it’s time for the ultimate worst one of the tiers. The monsters are better not pursued as they’ll gift the victory to the opponent in front of your eyes. The only thing you can do is just try to keep them alive as their moves do not cause a lot of damage and additionally they lose energy quite fast. These drawbacks make them worse.
Megalon
Megalon is a colossal and titanic insectoid creature. It is considered the absolute worst of the monsters. If you have him playing for you, there is a close to zero chance that you will win. You have to make up your mind that you are gonna lose whatever happens.
It is true to say that this monster does not have any specialty. It can be defeated by every single one of the monsters. The moves that only cause the other monsters to stagger can make Megalon lose his ground. It is present in the D Tier because if you choose him, you should forget the possibility of winning. If you try to avoid the punches and Jabs by jumping around, the monster will only tire himself and then be left absolutely defenseless.
Appearance
Megalon’s appearance is a hybrid between a cockroach and a rhinoceros beetle. Although it is an underground creature, Megalon is apparently extremely colorful, combining silver and grey fangs and claws with an orange-and-black carapace and broad wings. Megalon’s forelimbs terminate with two sharp, drill-like extremities.
Unlocking
Megalon is unlocked by default in the game.
Roar
Megalon’s roar is high-pitched noise. Its high screeching sound seems like a mixture of small grunts and chirps. But when used in its full force, it is quite scary. It can force out a deep laugh that resembles its roar
Abilities | Drill hands, Napalm Bombs, Horn Laser, Lightning Horn |
Enemies | Godzilla, Jet Jaguar, Rodan, Mothra, Mechagodzilla, M.O.G.U.E.R.A., Mothra Leo, Medical Jet Jaguar, Fire Fighter Jet Jaguar |
Anguirus
Anguirus is narrated as a very tenacious and feisty fighter. Despite constantly going up against enemies mighty and sturdy as himself, Anguirus rarely backs down and always puts up a vicious fight. Although he is not even close to the other strong Godzilla allies, he still tries his best. Like Megalon, if you choose him, you will never see victory. So it’s better to stay away from Anguirus.
This creature resembles the Megalon in its powers. It can never win against the hefty mighty gigantic creatures, who have a series of combos that can destroy Anguirus to shreds. This is the main reason for it being in the D tier. It is the absolutely worse choice. My advice, avoid it at all costs.
Appearance
This sturdy creature has several horns at the top of his head and a single rhino-like horn on top of his nose. His mouth is lined with serrated teeth and his carapace is studded with long, sharp, and pointy spikes. Anguirus’s tail is longer than his body, and that makes up most of his body length, and it is also covered with large spikes
Unlocking
Like two other monsters in the tier list, this monster is also unlocked by default.
Roar
If the roar of the Anguirus is listened to closely, we will find out that it is very shriek-like instead of a low deep growl.
Abilities | Stunning Poison, Sonic Roar, Additional Brains, Carapace |
Enemies | Godzilla |
Unplayable and Unused Characters
In the game, not all characters could be set as playable characters. Hence, few of them are classified as separate categories in the game. These characters are unbiased monsters that do not side with anybody. They may benefit the player or give detriment to him. It depends on the creature itself.
Mothra
Mothra is a colossal moth-like creature with brightly-colored, elegant wings. Mothra is the only unplayable monster that can be summoned. After being summoned through the purple Mothra Airstrike power-up, it bombards the antenna at the opponent of the team which summoned it. It can be made to flee by hitting it with radiation beams prematurely.
Hedorah
This nasty tadpole-like creature. It can neither be summoned nor does it help any of the players. In fact, it slows down the regeneration of energy of the player over which it glides. If shoot prematurely, it can be forced to flee.
Military
The military is a group of helicopters in the game that aim to destroy and eradicate these havoc-causing monsters. They aim mainly at the monster that has wreaked more chaos and destroyed more buildings. They spawn and dwindle on their health. They can be turned off with the aid of various cheat codes.
Vortaak
They are the universe’s most dominant species in the game. They conquer various planets to expand and enlarge their civilization. They attack Earth by controlling the monsters. Their UFOs descend to the Earth and leave power-ups.
Unused
Many a character is seen and quite famous in the movies and comic series, but they don’t appear in the Godzilla destroy all monsters video game. Kiryu, Baragon, Jet Jaguar, Godzilla 1954, and Space Godzilla fail to make an appearance in the game. They can be noticed in the sequels of the games but not specifically in this version.
Kiryu
Kiryu was omitted from the North American GameCube release of the game because of the Heisei Mechagodzilla. However, In the Japanese version, Kiryu replaced the Heisei Mechagodzilla and made an appearance in it, and was later featured in the North American Xbox release of the game as “Mechagodzilla 3,” along with the Heisei Mechagodzilla, who was later called “Mechagodzilla 2.” Kiryu would later be seen in both sequels to this game.
Baragon
Baragon was designed to show himself in the PlayStation 2 version of the game, but that game was never made. Instead, he was featured in the upcoming sequels.
Jet Jaguar
Atari wanted to feature this monster in the game, but its request was denied by Toho. He is available in the later sequels.
Godzilla 1954
In fear of overcrowding, the game with Godzillas, the original Godzilla, was scraped off due to the already present Godzillas. Although, he appeared in the Wii version of ‘Godzilla: Unleashed’.
Space Godzilla
This monster was plucked out due to the same as the one preceding it, Godzilla 1954. He appears in the sequels of the game.

Verdict
In the Godzilla destroy all monsters tier list, all the monsters of the game are included in it. These monsters are divided into different Tiers, S, A, B, C, and D, depending on their powers, moves, durability, resources, sustainability, and losing ability. The ghastly monsters included in the S tier are absolutely perfect; they are adept at what they do and can take down the opponent within seconds.
The A tier houses the monsters that lack some moves or resources and can’t reach the level of the S Tier. On to the next lower rank, the B Tier has good monsters that, when played very well, can win the victory but also have a chance of losing badly. The C Tier has monsters that are basic and are highly prone to losing.
In fact, they might not even win on the battlefield against the powerful Rodan. The D tier has atrociously abysmal creatures, they have zero tactics and absolutely no combos. They are the most prone to losing. Overall, all the monsters in this tier list are extremely powerful and, when seen irrespective of this ranking, can win on the battlefield.
