Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is an upcoming action role-playing game published by Nintendo. The game is developed by Monolith Soft and will be available on Nintendo Switch. It’s an installment in the more extensive Xeno franchise and will depict the future world of Xenoblade Chronicles 1 and 2.
The game had been in the making for a while, and everyone was ready to take their bite out of it with a spoon. Luckily, we received news from Nintendo about a Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Direct coming on 22nd June.
We don’t want to take the attention away from the game because it looks absolutely amazing. However, this direct may not be the rumored direct coming at the end of June. First of all, we need to clarify that we will be getting a final story trailer, and this direct will most likely be 20 minutes long.
Surprisingly, this came from a 4Chan user hours before we got the official Nintendo announcement. It was before anyone said a word, which means this user was not speaking nonsense; he further mentioned the length of the direct and possible expectations we should have. He also said it wouldn’t appear in the actual direct.
He was spot on with the first statement, so we can assume the other statements are also true to some degree. Furthermore, we also had a similar remark from Jeff Grubb, a gaming journalist with abundant sources of news way ahead of their announcement.
To be clear you don’t think this is the rumored “big” direct st the end of June?

Correct.

Jeff mentioned how this perfectly fits what he said about Nintendo doing smaller showcases rather than doing a big one. He also expects more from them, so we can expect that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is not the only thing we can expect from Nintendo Direct this June.
I think so.

They can have a mini-direct or a big one at the very end, or maybe Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is their mini-direct. Nonetheless, Xenoblade is not the main focus, and we can get more from Nintendo afterward, so keep your fingers crossed.
Nintendo is finally adding its own to the many showcases we had this month, and their direct seems to be the perfect way to end the June game fest. Let us know what you expect from Nintendo so we can discuss it together.
