Acnh Tier List: The Ultimate Ranking

Today I am here with my ACNH tier list, which describes everything you want to know about this life simulation game Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The game was released in 2020. Players of this game will be dropped off on a barren island where they must gather materials and make things. You must also complete certain chores to receive prizes and grow new plants to obtain the island’s food supplies.

Additionally, you must perform tasks to win rewards and develop new plants to get the island’s food supply. New Horizons also incorporates new features and mechanics, such as river pole-vaulting, cliff construction, waterscape, and the inclusion of crafting materials, which were previously only featured in Pocket Camp, into the main series of games.

This tier list will help you understand the gaming tricks and provide a useful guide about all the villagers of this game, along with their proper ranking. This ranking is based on their gameplay and performance. So this is the right place for you if you are new to this amazing game or want to know more details about the game and its characters.

Gameplay

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the player accepts an offer to construct a lonely island. Initially, the lonely island is nearly empty, with just a few tents. The player completes duties to transform the island into a pleasant and flourishing land of residents and uses the crafting item system to create various equipment and furnishings. The game, like previous games, uses bells as the primary currency, with some local supplementary currencies such as Nook Miles for certain transactions.

The player has free access to natural materials like fruit and wood, which may be collected and made into a range of objects and furniture through the process known as ”do it yourself” making. They can also capture bugs and fish, establish and grow trees and flowers, natural harvest materials like rocks, and swim in the water. The island provides free room for users to place goods and decorate as they see fit.

Certain accessible stuff, such as creatures, is seasonally dependent and only appears for a brief time of the year. Simple tasks grant the player “Nook Miles,” which can be used to purchase premium prizes at Resident Services. Another early feature is the airport “Dodo Airlines”; with Dodo Airlines and tickets purchased with Nook Miles, the player may travel to other unoccupied islands to collect resources and meet other residents. If the player so desires, they can invite other villagers they encounter to their island.

Tom Nook grants the additional player flexibility to develop your island when the player has achieved enough progress in the game. However, the user is given additional choices for modification of her island for future community expansion, such as the ability to build and demolish cliffs, bodies of water, and walkways, commonly known as terraforming.

The game allows for one island per Switch system. Animal Crossing: New Horizons allows both local and online co-op gaming, with up to four players locally and eight online players able to inhabit an island simultaneously using Dodo Airline. During a late July 2020 update, Nintendo Switch Online cloud saving was included, allowing players to restore game data if their Switch was destroyed or lost.

Through local or online network play, up to seven additional players using various devices can join the game. An advanced mode in New Horizons allows up to eight additional players to be residents on the same island, and up to four players can play at once. You must purchase a Nintendo Switch Online Membership to communicate with other online players.

Popular Villagers in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Some villagers in Animal Crossing have become famous for their appearance, theme, rarity, personalities, or perhaps a mix of all four. These characters are most liked by the players of this game and are of great advantage in the game. So let’s dig into our popular characters.

Raymond

Raymond
Raymond

A conceited cat villager named Raymond first appeared in New Horizons and then in Pocket Camp. He is placed in the S tier of this ACNH tier list due to some amazing qualities. His name in English means “Council giver” or “Advice giver,” according to his professional appearance and indoor surroundings. His Dutch term means neat, and his Japanese phrase implies someone strict or serious, both of which allude to his demand for precision, as indicated on his Pocket Camp profile. Also, he enjoys being in nature.

Raymond is a cat who has grey fur. Appearance-wise, he has a cream bunch of hair on his forehead and a black tail. The area directly before his black paws has a grey-to-white gradient. Due to heterochromia, the color of both his eyes is different. His left eye is green, and his right eye is brown. Additionally, he possesses tiny teeth that protrude when he gets excited or startled. He is mostly dressed in a grey waistcoat and a pair of spectacles.

Smugs are kind, nice, and gentlemanly. Raymond will get along well with the villagers because he is a smug villager. Raymond generally gets along with normal, snobby, and peppy villagers but may clash with grumpy locals. Raymond has a house in New Horizons, which is decorated in an office style. In his house, he has a contemporary office chair, a desk that came from the set of The Office, and a stack of documents located in his home’s backyard.

Shino

Shino
Shino

A happy deer villager named Shino lives in New Horizons. On October 15, 2021, she first appeared in the game’s version 2.0 update. Her name is an inspiration from the Japanese female given name Yoshino, the English word deer, and the Japanese theatrical form Noh.
Also, she is very fond of education.

Shino is a yellow deer and cream in color with red horns and grey-tipped ears. Her eyes are orange, with black eyeliner and crimson cosmetics, grey brows are short, and her eyes do not close completely when she speaks or grins but remain slightly open. Also, her tail is grey-tipped, and she has white teeth. Shino is dressed in a pale green morning-glory yukata.

Peppy villagers always seem to be in a happy mood and are easy to make friends with. Shino, a cheerful villager, tends to overreact in chats about small matters and is typically overjoyed to meet the player or other villagers. Like other cheerful villagers, this villager is seldom stopped from doing anything, even their normal interests. Peppy villagers will also have a relatively short attention span, so they will quickly forget any disagreements or incomplete chores provided to the player.

Marshal

Marshal
Marshal

This character is a smug squirrel in the Animal Crossing series. His name might reference his marshmallow-like look, and he enjoys music as a pastime. Marshal is a light brown squirrel with a brown fringe and pink blush on his cheeks. His eyes are black, with dark green irises.

Marshal will generally get along with sleepy, regular, snobby, and peppy villagers but may clash with grumpy people. Smug personality villagers are kind, nice, and gentlemanly. Being a smug villager, Marshal will get along well with the other villagers. Smug villagers will mostly soothe their egos by boasting about their awesomeness.

Marshal’s residence is cafe themed, with an open-frame kitchen with a basic kettle and a mini-fridge next to it. Also, he possesses a coffee machine set and a piano in his house.

Sherb

Sherb
Sherb

Sherb is a sluggish goat villager first seen in New Horizons and then in Pocket Camp. He gets his name from sherbet, a sort of ice cream. His Japanese name is Rem, referred to REM sleep. Sherb is a light blue goat who enjoys nature. Along with this, his first outfit is a white Winter Sweater.

Being a lazy villager will be nice and easy to get along with owing to his relaxed lifestyle as he enjoys food and lounging, like other lethargic peasants. He will enjoy the customary pastimes for relaxation or food, such as fishing. He will also get along well with regular, cheerful, and sisterly villagers and occasionally, irritable villagers may make them angry.

Besides this, Sherb also has many cute pieces in his house, such as a cute bed, cute floor lamp, DIY table, closet, cute sofa, and a tea table with an old-fashioned alarm clock.

Sasha

Sasha
Sasha

Sasha is a sluggish rabbit villager that debuted in the New Horizons 2.0 update. He is a male villager with a great fashion interest. A seafoam green rabbit with a soft coat has a muzzle, paws, and ear tips that are gradient white. He has a tuft of blond bangs over his forehead and a matching yellow tail.

He enjoys food and lounging, as do other lethargic villagers, and will enjoy the customary pastimes for relaxation or food, such as fishing. Also, he gets along well with smug and sisterly villagers.

Zucker

Zucker
Zucker

Zucker is a sluggish octopus villager first seen in New Leaf. Also, his English, Dutch, and Russian names are derived from “sucker,” which refers to the suction cups seen on the arms of cephalopods and is also German for “sugar,” most likely about his food-like look. However, his Japanese name and look reference the Japanese food takoyaki, a fried ball of dough typically stuffed with minced octopus.

His slogan alludes to the fact that he is an aquatic species that enjoy nature as a pastime. Also, his skin color is identical to Octavian’s. Being a lazy villager, Zucker will be nice and easy to get along with owing to his relaxed lifestyle. He also enjoys food and lounging, as do other lethargic peasants. He will enjoy the customary pastimes for relaxation or food, such as fishing.

Also, he will get along with regular, cheerful, smug, but irritable villagers mostly make them angry. About how takoyaki is connected with yatai street food booths, Zucker’s home in New Horizons is described as looking like an outside seller.

Judy

Judy
Judy

A snobby cub villager named Judy first appeared in New Horizons and then in Pocket Camp. However, the origin of her name is not clear, given her stunning beauty, charming attitude and enjoyment of playing the piano. Judy has pastel-colored fur, a white face, and a little black nose. Her fur is an ombre of pastel pink, light blue, and light violet, and she has wide, dazzling blue anime-like eyes. The first outfit she flaunts is a pink fairy tale gown.

Judy has a snobbish disposition. Thus she enjoys make-up and chatting.  She would first look unpleasant and arrogant to the player. Judy’s house in New Horizons features a light pink entrance and a deep blue roof.

Ankha

Ankha
Ankha

Ankha is a snooty cat villager whose name is derived from the ankh, an Egyptian letter that means “life”. Ankha has fur which is brilliant yellow with navy blue highlights. She is an outstanding character and placed in the S tier of the ACNH tier list.

She wears a scarab charm in place of a cobra charm. This is modeled after the headdresses used by Egyptian pharaohs. Because of her snooty personality, Ankha enjoys talking and wearing make-up. Ankha would first come off as arrogant toward the player.

She will quickly get friendly with the player and confide in them about their emotions while being slightly nasty. However, she will get along well with cranky villagers because they share similar unpleasant attitudes and are typically regular locals. Her home in New Horizons features a tan stone roof and a purple metal accent door. Ankha’s interior decor reflects the Egyptian-style pyramids and walls.

Beau

Beau
Beau

In the Animal Crossing series, Beau is a sluggish deer villager. His name is a male term in French that means “beautiful” and is pronounced “bow.” His first sentence concerns a salt block that some people use to lure deer. Beau resembles an antelope, a deer-like creature found in Africa and Eurasia. Also, he is featured on the cover of Mr. K.K. and enjoys the outdoors.

Beau would be nice and simple to get along with as a lazy villager owing to his carefree attitude. He enjoys eating and lounging, much like all the other sluggish peasants. Also, he will take pleasure in engaging in the typical pastimes, which are often done for leisure or food, such as while fishing. Despite this, Beau will get along well with the other villagers, although he could annoy or confuse the jock villagers.

Beau’s home still has a natural vibe in New Horizons. A picnic setting with an outdoor picnic set and a green picnic basket are all included in the interiors.

Why Trust Us?

Our major objective is always to give a tier list devoid of one-sided perspectives or inaccurate facts. Since tier lists are frequently used as guidelines, we usually include a disclaimer explaining how readers should interpret our tier lists. To prevent anyone from finding our material unpleasant or harsh against their favorites, we present to the readers why some things are placed in their allocated tier sooner.

Before posting anything on the internet, we thoroughly study and authenticate anything we write about. We ensure that a group of senior writers double-check the tier lists if the writer misses certain errors. Some authors may become prejudiced due to the need for originality. Still, our writers are taught to maintain their professional thoughts to themselves and only to express them in connection with genuine facts.

Final Thoughts

After thorough research and investigation, I could rate virtually all the characters in my ACNH tier list. The S, A, B, C, D, and E tiers have been properly arranged. We are always open to constructive criticism, though, if your opinion on this tier list varies from ours. Based on my observations of each of these personalities, I created a thorough list of all characters in this game. They all undoubtedly have benefits and drawbacks. So enjoy your read, and let us know if this post was helpful in the comments.
