The powerful SMGs from the list will be categorized in the S Tier. These guns work so efficiently that they provide players with a wonderful experience.

FSS Hurricane

Not it’s only the best SMG in the game but also FSS Hurricane is amongst the best weapons in the game. It’s quite popular among professional COD players due to its fantastic lower and fast fire rate alongside high damage. Due to its very regulated and consistent recoil, the FSS Hurricane is a considerably smoother and more stable gun when compared to other SMGs in our list.

Fennec 45

The Fennec 45 could easily be the best SMG in our Warzone Tier List SMG article, but the FSS Hurricane edge-passes it owing to a few minor issues. It’s quite a powerful and smooth weapon to have in your arsenal, with multiple extensions and accessories that can improve its already exceptional accuracy and the highest fire rate of any SMG. But the range of the weapon is its only drawback because while it excels at close range, players will find it difficult to use in long-range combat.

The A Tier will include those weapons that are regarded as powerful but lack the potential to be the strongest weapons in the game because of a few minor flaws or weaknesses. However, they still remain one of the best SMGs in the game.

Vaznev-9k

The Vaznev-9K is a reliable weapon with excellent firing rates and bullet velocities. A few attachments can improve the gun’s capability. The fire rate is one of its most impressive features, and it gets much better with these additions. Overall it’s an excellent close-range high-rate weapon.

Lachmann Sub (MP5)

Lachmann Sub is an MP5 that comes up with steady stats. The ammo count and fire rate are its most notable features. The players can add attachments to increase ammo capacity to fire maximum bullets at a fast rate.

The average SMGs in our Warzone 2 SMG Tier List will be included in the B Tier. Don’t get us wrong, they are still highly useful, but in comparison to the previously listed weapons, they fall short.

VEL 46

It’s going to be a little controversial to place Vel 46 in the B Tier but we believe that due to its shortcomings in the bullet velocity and ADS time compared to the weapons in the prior tier we justify this inclusion. It has decent overall stats but not enough to give it a place in the above ranks.

PDSW 528

Given its excellent close-range performance, the PDSW 528 is the perfect backup weapon for a sniper. However, the players will struggle to use it in long-range combat due to PDSW 528’s recoil. Therefore, using a sniper and retaining PDSW 528 as the backup weapon will be the ideal setup for the players.

BAS-P

The BAS-P is the first SMG to be added after the launch, and it did quite well than anticipated. However, it’s not the most preferable choice of weapon amongst many COD players but if you were to keep it for a close range to mid-range combat it’s not going to disappoint you much. However, in our view, there are superior SMGs available, so neglecting it might not be the wrong option.

C Tier

Our only inclusion in the C Tier is MX9 which might not be the best choice of weapon though it’s still not the weakest SMG in our Warzone Tier List SMG article.

MX9

The MX9 can be used as a mid-range option because of its manageable recoil; once you start firing, there is hardly any kickback. The MX9 falls short of the majority of the weapons on the list due to its poor Fire Rate, Bullet Velocity, Ammo Count, and ADS Time.

We will wrap up our Warzone 2 SMG Tier List with the final rank and the only weapon left which is the Minibak.

Minibak

Minibak has multiple drawbacks from the highest recoil out of any SMG to extremely slow bullet speed this particular weapon is very weak. It might have a good ammo capacity Minibak feels ineffective due to its slow ADS and fire rate. In short, if you want an SMG to go with your first-choice weapon you can ignore Minibak and pick any of those listed above it.

Verdict

And that was our attempt at ranking each and every single one of the SMGs in the newly released Warzone 2. After trying out all the weapons ourselves followed by thorough research, we present our article to you.

However, we don’t claim it to be a perfect ranking, as there is no such thing as a perfect tier list. Different people will have different feelings about each gun, and a lot of that will come down to what works for them personally. We welcome any and all criticisms from our readers, so don’t be afraid to express your viewpoint in the comments below.
