Leaker Reveals Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Major Game Details

The Leak Suggest it to be an ambitious game

As we saw with the huge success of Avatar: The Way of Water, the expectations for the game Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora have reached even higher peaks. It’s almost a guarantee the game will do great monetarily, and if the critics review it well, the game might solidify the franchise as one of the most popular ones we have ever seen.

However, we can’t say how the game will be yet since we barely know much about it. Luckily, recent leaks have allegedly leaked major details regarding the game, and so far, it looks very unique and promising.

Reddit user Eht_Hctins has revealed the details in a post, and considering the accuracy of his past few leaks, we can take his words with some credibility. The open-world aspect is not the typical one we have seen recently, so this game might be a breath of fresh air.

Major Points

  • The game has nice shooting mechanics, and we can use the creatures of Pandora for help on both land and in flight; they can be tamed.
  • Even though the game is an open-world there are no traditional quest markers. The game tries to lead you to an area where you must explore and find the required things yourself.
  • Looting and crafting are there, and it has the mechanics you would expect from Ubisoft. The leaker reported that the game has several bugs, and he hopes they get fixed in the final product.
  • In addition, the world is ever-changing, and the weather interaction with wildlife is also great.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora carries a lot of expectations, and if the leak is true, it certainly carries the potential. The leaker listed several things, and some caught our eyes at TopTierList. Starting off, the leaker acknowledged the shooting mechanics in the game and revealed how the creatures of Pandora could be tamed.

These creatures are helpful on both land and in flight, so we can expect some nice aerial mechanics. In addition, the game isn’t the usual open-world from Ubisoft; it doesn’t contain the quest markers that are your basic guides in an open-world. Instead, the game leads you to different locations where you must figure things out.

The quests in-game aren’t traditional “go here and do that”; they are more puzzling and make you figure most things out by yourself. You can also look and craft within the game, though it’s unclear if you can craft anywhere or if there is a designated crafting location.

The game still has many bugs, which is normal for an unreleased game, and will most likely be fixed in the final product. Most importantly, the exciting mechanic is related to the world around you. It constantly changes as you progress with certain “parts” of the game. You can notice that once you revisit those areas.

The weather cycle is very natural and interacts greatly with the wildlife; during heavy storms, flying creatures won’t fly, and the character will react to that as well. Though these are minor things, and most gamers skim through such details, they add depth to the game and are very much appreciated.

One such example is Red Dead Redemption 2 and how amazing it is with the environmental interactions. It will take a lot for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora to reach that level, but if it does the abovementioned mechanics well, the game should be something to look forward to.
