Bethesda Working on Second Starfield MMORPG

Bethesda has been slowly dripping Starfield teasers since all the way back in 2018 instead of their usual 6 months of hyping showing Bethesda’s expectations from this release and the amount of Dev team blood, sweat, and tears that went into bringing this project to life. Starfield will be Bethesda’s first intellectual property in 25 years, with that being said we hope it’s not their last. The game has been described as “Skyrim in space” and fans can’t contain their excitement.

There have been rumors of another top-secret game being in the works from Bethesda Game Studio alongside the current upcoming 2022 Starfield game.

Gaming news content creator SKULLZI has stated it may be another Starfield game developed by Bethesda alongside Zenimax Online Studios. Skullzi on his YouTube channels talks about all the rumors of Starfield and has previously leaked screenshots from the upcoming Starfield game.

According to SKULLZI the game will be a standalone MMORPG game. The game, however, will take another 3-to 4 years to launch judging Bethesda’s previous large-scale releases including the current upcoming Starfield game set to launch on November 11th, 2022. However, you may take this with a grain of salt as these are speculations.

The game is expected to release exclusively on next-gen Xbox consoles and Pc and will be a day one release on Xbox Game Pass. This comes after Microsoft’s acquisition of Bethesda for a whopping 7.5 billion dollars, Keep in mind all of PlayStation is worth 37.5 billion.

Starfield’s lead artist when asked about the game looks said:

“Early on in this project when we were trying to establish the overall aesthetic of this game, we sort of coined the term ‘NASA-Punk’ to describe a sci-fi universe that’s a little more grounded and relatable”

Gamers have high expectations from Bethesda taking into consideration how long the games dev cycle was and previous fan-favorite game franchises including Skyrim, Fallout, and Doom. Starfield is said to have a specific aesthetic known as NASA-Punk. Just reading that gives off a futuristic space-like vibe with a mix of steampunk sprinkled in.
