Hidden Sales Data of Notable Games Leaked

One factor that defines a game’s success is the units they sell. Often, that data is provided by the developer company, but that may not always be the case. A great example is Titanfall, Halo 5, and Mario Party 10. These games were released between 2014-2015.

Since then, not much has been given about the sales of these games, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t grasped the level of success they achieved. These are some of the most excellent titles in their respective franchises, and luckily, we can finally see that in numbers.

According to the LinkedIn profile of a project manager/strategist behind these games, the numbers are exponential. So, without further ado, let’s dive into it!

Mario Halo Titanfall
Experience Description on Kim Tinney’s Profile.

Kim Tinney, a Creative Strategist and a Project Manager Director mentioned these details in her experience description. It seems that Halo 5 has sold 6.6M units, becoming the “fastest-selling Xbox One game to-date.” Titanfall has sold 3.1M units, and Mario Party 10 has sold over 2.25M units.

These games are doing exceptionally well, and rightfully so. They may be a bit older titles, but they are still better than most of the current games. If you haven’t played any of them, keep reading as we will explore each of these three.

Halo 5

Halo 5 is an FPS game developed by 343 Industries and published by Microsoft Studios. It was released on Xbox One, and according to the description, it is their fastest-selling game. The story follows two fireteams of superhuman soldiers, the Blue Team and Fireteam Osiris. The Blue Team is led by Master Chief, while Fireteam Osiris by Spartan Locke. When Master Chief disappears without a trace to track Cortana, his loyalty is suspected, and other team ventures to retrieve him.

It is one of the best games in the Halo franchise, and almost no one disagrees with that. The only complaint about the game is its unavailability on Steam, as all other parts from the series are available there.

Mario Party 10

Mario Party 10 is a party game developed NDcube and published by Nintendo. As the name suggests, it is the 10th game in the series and the first game after Mario Party 4 to have Donkey Kong as a playable character. It was the only game in the series to be released for Wii U. Later in 2018, Super Mario Party followed it for Nintendo Switch.

The game had mixed reviews in the beginning, but the numbers show it did pretty well. Granted, most of the criticism was due to the repetition of gameplay changes in Mario Party 9.

Titanfall

Titanfall is a multiplayer FPS game by Respawn Entertainment and published by EA. This game was anticipated to be the debut title of developers that worked previously on the Call of Duty franchise.

You pilot the Mech Titans in the game and fight in a 6v6 match. The game is fast-paced and perfect for anyone who enjoys warfare and tactical FPS games.

That is all from us. Let us know what you think these games sold, and we will discuss it with you below!
