God of War Ragnarök – The game that will surely make us emotional and excited with its epic story. We have been waiting to reach a satisfactory conclusion on Kratos and Atreus’ journey, and we may find that in Ragnarök. If not, it should be fine because we can never complain about having too much God of War.
It is the upcoming game by Santa Monica Studio and will be published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The game is scheduled for release on the 9th of November, 2022. It will be the 9th instalment in the GoW series.
God of War Ragnarök is a sequel to the 2018 God of War and will be based on Norse Mythology, as seen from its title. It is set in ancient Scandivania and features Kratos and his son Atreus. Their journey has led them to the Norse event of Ragnarök, the apocalypse of Gods, where many Norse Gods shall die.
About God of War Ragnarök
Let us explain if you don’t know about God of War Ragnarök’s setting. The game is set three years after the events of the prequel. Fimbulwinter, the great winter that spans three summers, is coming closer, and it is set to begin the prophesized Ragnarök.
Kratos, accompanied by his son Atreus now travel the nine realms to prevent Ragnarök, all while on a quest to uncover the secret behind Atreus’ identity as Loki. They will meet many Gods on their journey, including Týr, the Norse God of War, who was thought to be dead.
Most importantly, they will meet Thor, the half-brother of Baldur, Odin, the all-knowing and ally-turned-enemy Freya, who seeks to avenge her son Baldur. The game will cover many events, along with some exciting battles. Luckily, our sharp eyes at TopTierList caught this insane battle between Thor and Kratos. Thor Vs. Kratos

The fight starts with Thor yelling at Kratos that if this is what the God of War has to offer, did his sons die by luck? He is angry over the death of his sons, Modi and Magni, at Kratos’ hands. Nevertheless, he follows up the sentence by comparing Kratos with himself, showing some connections.
It can be something out of context, or maybe Thor understands Kratos more than others, and something exciting might happen after their battle. We also can’t leave out the part where Thor leaves Kratos unconscious and on the verge of death, bringing him back to life with the thunder from Mjölnir.
It also seems like he does not want to kill him, and only wants a serious fight from Kratos, as he does say, “I’m not leaving until I see the real you.” We don’t know how this fight will go, but Thor overpowers Kratos here.
Ending Remarks
Though the fight is still not concluded, we can safely say Thor is not someone to be messed with. He is undoubtedly one of the strongest foes Kratos has ever faced, and their battle will be something to witness.
