Sega Corporation is a multinational company, that was founded in 1951, since then, they have worked on many different projects, and put out some of the most revolutionary games. Among the many games they have published, Yakuza, Sonic, and Persona are just a few of the many famous ones. However, right when the people thought their reign over the gaming industry is loosened, we have seen some massive leaks, which we will explain in detail below!
A user from 4chan made a very messy list of all the leaks he got a glimpse of while the employees went for a bathroom break. He is one lucky fella as he was told to look after the laptops in the workplace. But how would they trust a stranger? Well, his friend works in the company there, and he decided to get all this information for us.
The leaks he mentioned include a new “Jet Set Radio” by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, which will apparently use the engine HE2. Virtua Fighter 6 is by the same studio that made Dragon Engine. He also mentioned Kiryu becoming playable, and graphics looking insane. Akira, Jacky, and Pai look way older than how we know them.
Yakuza 8 is in the making, which in itself is huge news. A Demon Slayer Game, but it will feature characters from season 2 as well. Sonic The Hedgehog 5, which will supposedly be made by Uekawa. A Sonic Frontiers game, where Sonic, Tails, and Shadow are playable, has a desert environment like the Sonic 06. There will also be different wardrobe options.
We will also get Sonic Origins, which will have an animated intro of the Powerhouse logo. It will be made by Headcanon (That’s a lot of Sonic, but we aren’t complaining). Persona 4 Golden coming to Switch, PS4, and Xbox. Mario and Sonic Paris 2024 Olympic Games with amazing graphic boost.
You can sit back and take a deep breath as we did just cover a lot of leaks, but do take them with a grain of salt because the leaker was unable to get a picture of them; according to him:
“Don’t ask me for screens, couldn’t get any, I had to look fast af, I almost literally shit my briefs a lil bit ngl”
To sum it up, these leaks are massive, and great news for fans in the waiting. Some of these games have gained a lot of attraction in past few years, and maybe that pushed them to make these games. True or not, SEGA definitely has something cooking for us, and all we can do is wait for further confirmation.
