Minecraft Legends Teased

Minecraft is a sandbox video game developed by Mojang. It is one of the most popular and successful games of all time and needs little introduction. Telltale’s Minecraft: Story Mode, a narrative adventure starring Patton Oswalt, and Minecraft Dungeons, a Diablo-like dungeon crawler, are among the many spin-offs that have resulted from the game’s success.

Minecraft has been ported to several other platforms and is the best-selling video game of all time, with over 238 million copies sold and nearly 140 million monthly active users as of 2022. The Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase revealed a new expansion to the Minecraft universe that aired on June 12. receiving another unexpected spin-off, Minecraft Legends, and excitement is very high in the gaming community for this release.

Minecraft Legends is a story about the Overworld of Minecraft Legends. The game put the players in the Minecraft universe, allowing them to lead their mates in heroic fights to save the Overworld.

In a blog sharing a complete breakdown of Minecraft Legends, Mojang expressed that the story players create one that may or may not truly exist. Players will become a hero that exists solely as “a powerful legend” with no “records or evidence” of how or what they did.

Many rumors were circulating online before the game was officially announced in which Minecraft Legends was codenamed badger, and many speculated that soon there would be an official announcement. On Twitter, Industry insider Jez Corden, an editor at WindowsCentral and the co-host at Xbox Two Podcast, teased the Minecraft Legends project before it got confirmed by Microsoft.

Today at the Extended Xbox Games Showcase, Microsoft confirmed that Minecraft Legends was codenamed badger; Jens, one of the team members of the Minecraft team, teased Minecraft Legend at Minecon 2018; which was forgotten by many players.
