Monster Hunter is one of the most successful and popular franchises, as it not only described a whole genre but gave it the meaning it needed. An expansion, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, was announced to be released in June 2022 for both platforms.

Some fans consider Espinas to remain as frontier’s exclusive.

Espinas and Frontier monsters were kept from being in the main series because of fan outcry from the Frontier community. With the Capcom showcase right around the corner loading screen of the Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak leaked, which shows Espinas, Astalos, Gore, and Rakna-Kadaki, fans are hyped to witness these monsters again.
