New Utawarerumono Game Leaked

Utawarerumono is a Leaf-developed adult tactical role-playing visual novel. There are several entries in the series, with the majority of them falling within the visual novel-RPG genre.  In April 2002 Utawarerumono released their first game.

Due to the success of their first game, Utawarerumono’s light novel got adapted into other media like anime television series, manga, drama CDs, and internet radio programs. Utawarerumono’s story may be experienced in several ways using different media.

The Utawarerumono game series has 3 main games in total with two additional side stories. This year marks the 20th anniversary of Utawarerumono and there were rumors that they will introduce a new installment in their game series.

The rumors might have come true after the release date of Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten, a brand new English title celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Utawarerumono franchise, was just added to the Steam Database.

Any title of the Utawarerumono game series is usually released first on the PlayStations platforms but the appearance on SteamDB confirmed not only an English release but also an early PC release.

The Steam API listed on the page is hinting towards the September 7, 2022 release date but this does not act as a confirmation. The Utawarerumono games are the series’ most popular media.

The Utawarerumono video games are ideal for viewers who desire an interactive experience as visual novels with RPG gameplay. Aside from the games, Utawarerumono has produced plenty of anime adaptations, including an original in 2006, Utawarerumono: The False Faces in 2015, and Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth, which is planned to debut in July 2022.

A Japanese anime television Utawarerumono series titled Utawarerumono: The Two White Emperors announced on the 20th anniversary live stream along with this game will be released in July 2022.
