Need For Speed is the most popular racing video game series developed by Criterion Games, and published by Electronic Arts. The main plotline of the games revolves around illegal street racing and different tasks that the players must complete to unlock missions, and finish objectives.
It is one of the oldest EA franchises, with the first game coming back in 1994. The most recent one was Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered which came in November of 2020. It is a free-to-play game.
Over time, the game has been developed by different big teams, such as EA Canada, EA Black Box, Slightly Mad Studios, and even Ghost Games. In gaming history, it is definitely one of the biggest and most successful franchises ever, as it has sold over 150 million copies of the game.
The new mobile game for this franchise was leaked recently, and now we finally have its gameplay, and it is looking very promising. The only things we currently know include:
- The game currently has only three cars, which include the McLaren F1, the Lamborghini Aventador SVJR, and the Gallardo
- The game is made on Unreal Engine 4, which was leaked before and is almost confirmed now.
- The handling and drift boost effects in the game are very similar to Need For Speed: Edge, a previous mobile game that was shut down after release.
- The map has some changes, but it is taken from Need For Speed: Heat.
- There won’t be any story, nor will there be any cops in the game.
