Pac-Man World Re-Pac is not a Nintendo Exclusive

The Pac-Man franchise has held a special place in fans’ hearts for over 40 years. One of the main reasons the Pac-Man has stayed relevant is the constant creation of new and varied content. Whether his appearance in the movie or the game itself, fans who want even more Pac-Man content may be in good fortune.

Pac-Man World Re-Pac was announced during the Nintendo Direct partner showcase today for the Nintendo Switch. The game will be released on August 26, and it looks like it will also be coming to other platforms because an ad on the Canadian version of Amazon mentioned the game for PlayStation 5.

The pre-order price is $39.99, and the game will be released on August 26, just like Switch. This adds to the speculations that Switch players will not be the only ones to enjoy this game and Playstation fans will also get a chance to get their hands on the game.

Pac-Man World Re-Pac is a remake of PAC-MAN WORLD. Pac-Man’s family has been kidnapped, and it’s up to you to rescue them from Ghost Island. Nintendo said in a press release that the game is full of space battles, chases, and quirky levels.

Studios tend to be very careful when remaking games because it can go either way. But the game looked amazing in the footage shown at the Nintendo Direct, and we expect it to be even better on the Playstation 5.
