Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is one of the long-awaited action role-playing games published by Paradox Interactive. It is the sequel to Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines, which came out in 2004; it is part of the World of Darkness series. It’s safe to say that the game’s development has seen more downs than ups.
Hardsuit Labs initially developed the game, but due to some conflict between the devs and many other problems behind the scenes, it was announced that the production had been moved to another developer.
These are some of the many that Viktor posted, along with a message that said:
I worked throughout 2018-2020 with Paradox Interactive & Hard Suit Labs on Vampire – The Masquerade: Bloodlines II, long anticipated sequel to the cult 2004 RPG.
My work ranged from creative feedback & suggestions, crafting styleframes for concept, visual, UI/UX and brand design, to combining narrative and player learning during the first play experience.
It was also bonus fun to jam with former collaborator & jedi master Anton Grandert on some visuals in this project 🙂
There was also a map in the gallery, which perfectly fits the game’s theme. Considering how much the game has already finished, we can assume that it should be nearing the stage where we will receive a new trailer or a big announcement soon.
In regards to Bloodlines 2 it is still in development and we will let you know more when we have something to show.
We recently got an update from Fredrik Wester, the CEO at Paradox Interactive, who said that Bloodlines 2 is in development, and we should expect to see something once they have enough to show. That was a few months ago, and now that we have seen these visuals, it is clear that the game has a lot of content developed, so it’s only a matter of time before we hear something from them.
That’s all regarding this matter; if you have any questions or speculations on when we might see an update, please let us know below!
