MF Ghost, the successor of Initial D, follows the story of 19-year-old boy Kanata Rivington. Kanata has come back to Japan with hopes to find his father, however, he gets involved in the popular MFG racing series. MFG racing series is where all the best racers compete driving all-wheel-drive sports cars.
The anime adaptation of “MF Ghost” was announced back in early January 2022, and due to its connection with Initial D, another anime that is a masterpiece of its genre. Shuichi Shigeno has written both MF Ghost and Initial D. There was also a teaser PV on YouTube, however, no further details were given, and the anime is expected to come in 2023, so it is about time we got some details.
A credible leaker on Twitter named Sugoi LITE (OECUF) posted a tweet regarding the staff and the production house. Sugoi LITE is the kind of leaker other leakers get information from. He is very credible and in the past, he posted about the anime adaptation of Light Novel “The Unwanted Undead Adventurer”, which was confirmed later that day through an interview with the Author.
So it is safe to say that we should be expecting official news regarding this matter anytime soon. Furthermore, he also added that we should expect another PV coming soon and some character visuals.
The Staff mentioned in the tweet include:
-Director: Tomohito Naka
-Series Composition: Kenichi Yamashita
-Character Design: Naoyuki Onda
-Sound Director: Masafumi Mima
-Music: Akio Dobashi
-Animation Production: Felix Film
The expectations towards the staff are very high as it already has a notable ancestor Initial D.
Felix Film is a Japanese Animation Studio created back in 2014, and since then, they have animated some notable titles, e.g., “Nekopara” Series, and “Aharen-san wa Hakarenai”. Their involvement in MF Ghost can be considered good news for the fans. The manga itself has over 3.2 million copies in circulation as of January 2022.
That’s it for the news, if you have anything to ask, just let us know!
