Number of Episodes of the Part 2 of SPY x FAMILY Leaked

SPY X FAMILY is one of the latest anime this year, with only 2 episodes released so far. The protagonist “Twilight” is a very talented spy from the Westalis Intelligence Services’ Eastern-Focused Division (WISE), and his mission is to put together a family in one week to infiltrate the different gatherings organized by the school that Desmond’s son attends.

But it turns out that the girl he adopts is a psychic as she can read minds, and his wife, who agreed to be in this fake marriage, is an assassin. How will his life transpire now and what will become of his mission?

Even though the anime is very fresh, it has gathered a big fanbase as the trailer itself gained 4.7 Million views on YouTube.

Just recently, part 2 or cour 2 of SPY X FAMILY was listed in LiveChart, which will have 13 episodes in total. Part 1 will go on to have 12 episodes, and both combinedly make season 1 with 25 episodes, which is the common norm in anime. As much new anime are cutting their season into 2 parts for more hype among the fans, it seems that SPY X FAMILY also adopted that.

While there hasn’t been any official announcement regarding part 2, LiveChart is one of the most credible sources of information, and you would know it if you are a weeb. The only question that now stands is when will it be released.

The speculations are that it will most likely be released in October this year, as that has been the case for other anime like That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2, it’s part 1 was released in January 2021, while part 2 was released in July same year. It takes 6-8 months between 2 parts of an anime, and there are already many rumors coming out that favor October this year.

As an anime that has quickly gathered such a fanbase with almost no criticism, it will likely be one of the most anticipated anime after part 1 is finished.

Furthermore, It is confirmed in the listing that WIT STUDIO will continue animating this show, so there won’t be any decline in the quality of production. They have been doing a great job animating part 1, and will likely continue with such a level of production in part 2.
