Potential Soulframe Concept Artwork Leaked

Soulframe is an upcoming MMO game from Digital Extremes. The same developers who gave us Warframe, hence why the expectations from the game are high. It recently got announced during the TennoCon 2022. However, much of the game is still a mystery.

Granted, we received an excellent trailer for the game, which gave us great insight into what to expect. It seems like this game will have slower pacing in comparison to Warframe. The game will likely be more methodical and focus more on the natural world setting.

Watch out Elden Ring because this game might be its potential contender. In a press release, Geoff Crookes, the creative director of the game, said:

With Soulframe’s worldbuilding and thematic elements, we are really looking to go back to our childhood favorites and pull inspiration from the elaborate fantasy worlds that we fell in love with growing up. Our team is really interested in this idea of nature and humanity colliding and we’ll be exploring a lot of those themes through our own lens while playing with ideas of restoration and exploration.

The game gives off “Princess Mononoke” vibes, which is very nostalgic. However, as there is not much revealed about the game yet, we can get some further insight through concept arts. Luckily, it is highly likely that we may see some great concept arts in the near future. These might come from the Senior Concept Artist Rosa (Eunche) Lee.

Rosa (Eunche) Lee is the Senior Concept Artist at Digital Extremes (Soulframe). These are some of the concept arts she has shared. As her profile only recently showed her position as a senior artist, it is expected that we may see much more coming soon.

If that is true, it’ll be great news for us as we wait for the game’s release. These concept arts give a good insight into the designs and also inspire new game developers. In addition, a Weapon Artist at Digital Extremes has also posted some concept art of the weapons shown in the trailer.

Joel Wood is Weapon Artist for Digital Extremes. These are some of the visuals on these weapons, and if you want to see more, you can check his profile. The good news is that as we have identified some of the artists for Soulframe, we now know where to look.

More artists will emerge on Artstation so that we can expect some goodies later this week. If you are a fan of Elden Ring and love Warframe, then this game is definitely for you. It combines the best of those games and gives a very nostalgic yet powerful game filled with a great story.

Although much is still unknown, we can see the development through the trailer and these concept arts. So far, it is looking phenomenal. If you have any questions or speculation regarding the game, do share with us below. We would love to discuss it with you!
