Last year was great for gaming, with multiple titles competing for the Game of the Year award. Though we would admit the presence of Xbox-exclusive titles was not visible, it should change in 2023. Starfield received some delays, but as we go deeper into 2023, it feels like the game might just be ready to fall into our hands.
Starfield is Bethesda’s first new universe in 25 years. The studio has already given us some revolutionary titles, so our expectations for a game have never been this higher. That’s not all; our team at TopTierList found a tweet that shows an Xbox Series X box with a Starfield image on the back, revealing how the console is being sold in China.
Xbox also has other notable titles, which will receive some announcements in the upcoming Developer_Direct. Regardless, we can’t disagree that Starfield is the one title almost every gamer is waiting for. It is also perhaps the first time people aren’t much upset with the previous delays, as they want to experience Starfield in the best possible way.

Twitter user Sn0w1n tweeted an image of the back of an Xbox Series X box. The image is that of Starfield, and his text translates to, “Xbox Series X is sold in China with the image of Starfield on the back.”
Starfield still has no release date confirmed, and we can’t pinpoint the date as the rumors are all over the place. The most credible lead we have is that it will be released sometime in the first half of 2023, as stated by Starfield‘s support page. Additionally, the game will be released on Xbox Series X|S and PC.
So, we can assume Xbox has already started the marketing campaign for Starfield in China. But the question is, when will these be sold outside of China? We may get something slightly different, but anything Starfield-related should be exciting.
We already know Xbox has a lot of things cooking up after the Developer_Direct, like the rumor of them announcing something major at Super Bowl LVII. They also confirmed that Starfield would get a stand-alone showcase sometime soon, so we can expect some goodies from them.
Aside from Starfield, we should give the spotlight to other titles from Xbox as well. We have leaks regarding Hi-Fi Rush‘s release before 2024 and Redfall release on 2nd May. Though we can’t confirm these yet, the upcoming showcases from Xbox should announce the official info eventually.
