Halo Infinite UI Concepts That Never Made it in Game

Halo Infinite is one of the most infamous games in the Halo franchise. It was developed by 343 Industries and published by Xbox Game Studios. The game rose to unreachable heights when it came out but very quickly died down as time passed.

The reasons were many, but the most prevalent ones were the bugs and many broken things in the game, which we discussed extensively before. However, how much of that would have changed if the game had some new concepts.

Luckily, we got our hands on never-seen-before UI concept designs that never made it to the game’s final version. These show very cool features, and having them would have been great, but unfortunately, we will not enjoy them here.

First, we have the armory option, which shows the many different armors, their names, and many cool features. It looks like an amazing way to show off your collection. Not to mention, the light shining on top of the armor just gives them a very badass look.

We were also this close to getting a 3D realistic map, which could have been an excellent “Quality of life” feature, but unfortunately, we missed out on it, and it may never be part of this game. However, the concept is there, so we can expect similar features from future projects.

Saving the best for last, we almost had Cortana with cool abilities. The abilities seem to have placeholder text, and we can not imagine what these abilities looked like, but it would have been so cool to see them within the game.

Since these were not implemented in the final version, we can assume that it would have changed many things within the game, and the game could have seen a slightly better future. Nonetheless, the game is hoping to see its time to shine with some other changes.

By that, we mean that the studio has started listening to the player feedback. Recently, we posted the news on the latest prototypes they are working on, including the Armament Blaster, Brute Spiker, Bandit Rifle, and Machine Guns.

There are also some other features that will make it into the game, including the Tether Distance and the Object Scaling, which we are very excited about.

If you are unfamiliar with the game plot, The story follows the super-soldier “Master Chief” fighting the enemy group “Banished” in the ringworld Zeta Halo. It’s the 6th installment in the series and the 3rd in “Reclaimer Saga”.
