The halo franchise has been through a roller coaster ride since Halo Infinite came out. It is one of the Halo franchise’s most popular yet controversial projects. It was developed by 343 Industries and published by Xbox Game Studios. It was considered an upgrade over Halo 5 but still received criticism.
Most of this is due to the different bugs found by the players and inconsistency resulting in trouble peaking high average players, but it is still ranked 19th on the US Xbox Most Played List.
Things might have been different if 343 Industries had considered implementing the recently uncovered features that never made it into the final game and the Halo Infinite’s unreleased time gap trailer. If that wasn’t sufficient, we have found the Halo Infinite Virtual Reality project that never made it.
Dont be surprised that you didn’t know about this; It turns out this Halo Infinite Virtual Reality project called Reverie that 343 considered creating in 2017 got canceled due to the challenges they faced in 2017. There were a lot of complex challenges to overcome with VR. Most prominently, it was only available to a small subset of people.
Moreover, a few companies 343 interviewed had an extreme amount of promise, so we might see VR-based Halo infinite game in the future. We got this from Creative Director / Designer: Dan Chosich. Even if this never came out, the concept remains, and if we had a chance to experience this, how do you think it would have affected the Halo franchise.
Since 343 Studios has started working on improving the game and is listening to player feedback. They are now adding many new things that we value, including weapons, Armament Blaster, Brute Spiker, Bandit Rifle, and Machine Guns, and many features, including Tether Distance and the Object Scaling.
If you are strange with the game story, The story follows the super-soldier “Master Chief” fighting the enemy group “Banished” in the ringworld Zeta Halo. It’s the 6th installment in the series and the 3rd in “Reclaimer Saga.”
Since season 2 is ending, the expectations remain very high for season 3, and Tthe community is brimming with excitement every passing day.
That’s it from us for today. Do let us know your thoughts on this canceled VR project in the comments below! And we will keep you updated.
